With this documentary project made in-house, we incorporated a completely new point of view around the “Mediterráneamente” concept: sustainability.
To increase brand awareness with content that strengthens the positioning and territory of the Estrella Damm brand and amplifies the Guía de Rincones on Instagram.
Since 2015 the Guía de Rincones has functioned as a tourist guide for charming places in the Mediterranean. In 2018, however, we decided to evolve the project and create a new line of content under an increasingly important issue for the brand: sustainability.
Mediterranean Projects are framed around sustainability: they consist of documentary videos made in-house that give visibility to projects and stories linked to organisations who work towards the conservation and preservation of the Mediterranean Sea. The issues worked on range from endangered molluscs to seabed cleaning projects, as well as the creation of marine reserves to protect the ecosystem.
For each of the Mediterranean Projects, we created a long-form item in which the creators will narrate the initiative in a didactic style. The videos were hosted on the web, on the brand’s YouTube channel and on Instagram TV. We then proposed shorter items, with captions and without voice-over to communicate the project on social. In addition, we worked on teaser videos for Instagram Stories and articles on the web, adding photographs and additional information.
Given the original character and the quality of the contents, the Mediterranean projects have had an impressive acceptance. In addition, they have proved to be pioneering content in Estrella Damm’s relationship with sustainability.
